This is terrifying.

This is horrible, i am disgusted! I remember in one of my college classes we talked about the modern day usage of high-tech lynchings. The way it was explained was that high tech lynching is when people miss use institutional or societal powers to create a symbolic lynching. There are great parallels between what you see in this video & a hanging, they are both meant to intimidate & create a sense of powerlessness in an effort to discourage people from standing up & demanding that their civil rights be respected & upheld. If you recall when African American men where were hung they were often castrated to emasculate them, the officers in this video emasculated the gentleman in the car by harassing him in front of his family & depriving him of his desire to defend himself & protect/shield his family from that horrible experience. The authorities main objective is not the arrest but to create more road blocks between you and what you want to accomplish, because they know it’s hard to focus on achieving your dreams if you have to constantly worry about the threat of police harassment, court dates or just being plagued with the horrible memory of how you or a loved one was violated in the worst way. Back in my college days this happened all the time a lot of us African American or Latino/Latina students at school had been harassed or miss treated by police without warrant at some point between arriving on campus &graduation, the main objective was to distract us from our school work or intimidate us from seeking higher education.
